Dear Church Family and Friends,

What an exciting privilege it is to be serving as your Pastor. We truly believe that God has joined us together to fulfill the high calling to evangelize, teach, disciple, equip, and minister to the family of God. We are thankful for all our dedicated staff who bind with us in these vital tasks. We covet your prayers and support as we strive with a servant's heart to lead our church forward for God's glory.

But it takes more than the pastor and staff to lead and grow a great church. It takes everyone working together. Our task is to look, think, and behave all as one body, striving for the same purposes. As the Apostle Paul wrote, "All the members of the body though they may be many, are one body...there should be no division in the body, but the members should have the same care for one another. Now you are Christs's body." (I Corinthians 13:12, 25, 27)

As a Church planted in an ever-changing community and city, the question stands before us. Will we work together as one body -- as Christ's body -- to be the Church God called us to be? The scriptures lead us to understand that the Church of Jesus Christ is the only institution that exists to meet the needs of those who are not yet its members. Are we ready to adapt and change in order to meet the needs of those we seek to reach and serve? Let us answer these questions with our faithfulness and fruitfulness in the coming days, months, and years of our Callie Self future. God bless you all.
